After reviewing the computer that I chose for Ibuypower, I would now like to point out the Alienware page. Alienware is a well known company that customizes top of the line gaming computers. The cheapest Alienware desktop is $1200. I chose the Alienware Aurora computer to review for this post, you can view it by clicking here. The reason why this computer is so expensive is because it comes with a Intel Core i5-2300 Overclocked Turbo Boosted 3.3 Ghz processor, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1000GB hard drive, 3072 MB Nvidia Geforce graphics card, and a DVD burner. The monitor and keyboard/mouse are both not included in this price. This is an absolutely outrageously high price for a computer of this type. You could easily build your own for half the price that they are asking. We do have to note more specs that are added onto the Alienware, such as the fact that it’s factory over clocked and the processor is liquid cooled. On top of all that, it also comes with Windows 7 64-bit, and a 1 – year warranty. Along with any other website and buying a desktop, you can change the specifications to improve your computer even more, but it costs money. If you read the reviews on this desktop, it has received many positive reviews. If you go onto change the specifications, you can note that to boost your processor to an i7 with 4.1 Ghz, it costs an extra $325.00. That is an outrageous price to pay for such a minuscule upgrade.
